This role ensures effective staffing, budgeting, mentorship, and continuous development within the sourcing function. The position drives business value by partnering with technology leaders and senior executives to align sourcing strategies with short- and long-term profitability goals. Additionally, the Director collaborates with legal, risk, tax, and data security teams to ensure compliance with evolving regulations and contracting standards.THE DAY-TO-DAY:Assist and support leadership in development and monitoring of processes and procedures, change management, sourcing strategies, budgets that produce both short-term and long-term profitabilityDevelop and build processes that allow for maximum strategic valueOversee and manage the technology sourcing team to ensure that acquisition of goods and services related to technology are prioritized, negotiated, risks mitigated, budgeted, and approved while driving bottom line impact.Ensure team collaboration with business partners, risk, data security, legal, and technology partners and manage and resolve outstanding issues related to technology acquisitionsProvide operational guidance to the technology sourcing team and business partnersProvide mentorship and coaching, including team building and collaborationProgress towards achievement of organizational goals and objectives; including personal goalsCollaborate with technology leaders, business partners, senior and executive leadership on technology acquisitions, strategic vision, and provide guidance on such acquisitions and strategiesMaintain the highest standard of doing business with our suppliers, business partners, technology partners and others - Identify areas of improvementLead high-level negotiations with suppliers and collaboration with technology business partners, legal, risk, data security, technology leadership to obtain favorable pricing and terms and conditionsUtilize and build processes within Smartsheet and other software that will maximize reporting capabilities to show value, time to market, savings, prioritization, approvals, and etc.Maintain knowledge of contractual language and understanding of the technology being acquiredCollaborate with Risk Management, Privacy, Data Security, Corporate Legal, and others to incorporate changes into our templates as requiredTHE IDEAL CANDIDATE:4+ Years of Prior Relevant Experience in the direction and management of employees in a similar environment which includes experience in negotiation of technology contracts/RFx's/SOW(s) and contract terminology RequiredBachelor’s degree in management, technology, contract law management or related field or equivalent experience RequiredWork varied shifts, to include weekends and holidays RequiredExperience working in a similar hospitality environmentKnowledge of technologyComplete Knowledge of Technology Sourcing categoryStrong overall knowledge of technology products, contractual language, redlining, negotiations, drafting, and associated risksExcellent negotiation skills and able to work cross-functionallyExcellent interpersonal skill to deal effectively with suppliers, internal leadership peers, staff, business partners and technology partners as well as excellent organizational skills and able to function under time constraints and deadline with attention to detailTHE PERKS & BENEFITS:Prioritize your wellness, access programs crafted to nurture your mental and physical health.
