About This Role
At Step With Purpose, children are loved, and learning is enhanced! We’re seeking a responsible, accountable, and creative Lead Teacher who loves making learning fun for children ages 2½–5. You’ll lead a nurturing classroom, support children’s independence, and take pride in their learning and care. Pay starts at $18/hour. Flexible availability is required Monday–Friday between 8:00 a.m. and 5:30 p.m.
What You'll Do- Plan fun, age-appropriate lessons using play, art, music, and exploration.
- Lead classroom routines and guide behavior with patience.
- Support potty training, toileting, and daily personal care.
- Actively supervise children and follow safety procedures.
- Complete daily cleaning and sanitizing of toys, tables, classroom surfaces, and toileting areas, including sweeping and mopping.
- Communicate warmly and professionally with families and staff.
- Take ownership of responsibilities and follow through on tasks.
Requirements
- Responsible, dependable, and punctual.
- Accountable for your work and open to feedback.
- Patient, creative, and enthusiastic about working with children.
- Strong communication, teamwork, and classroom leadership skills.
- Willingness to handle potty training and daily cleaning.
- Flexible availability during operating hours.
- Complete required screenings and training.
