Lead Infant Teacher

Cornerstone Learning Center - East Memphis We are a licensed childcare center seeking Lead Teachers to support our infants. To qualify for this position, you must have a high school diploma OR GED and pass all background checks. Previous childcare experience is a plus. Responsibilities Lead all aspects of the classroom in a manner consistent with the philosophy and goals of the center. Implement activities that encourage each child's growth in the areas of emotion, social, cognitive, creative, and physical development. Take initiative, accept constructive criticism and feedback, and make improvements and changes as necessary for the betterment of the quality of the program. Create and maintain an environment that is clean and safe for all children. Establish a professional level of rapport with each family to provide quality care for the children. Physical ability to work around small children including sitting, standing, walking, running, and climbing stairs. Ability to lift and carry up to 40 lbs. and fulfill all physical requirements of the role.
