Animal Emergency Clinic is seeking veterinarians passionate about working in emergency medicine for our 612-month training and mentorship program. We are looking for individuals who are team-oriented, driven, reflective, and reliable to train with us and transition into an ER position at AEC.

The Ethos ER Immerse Training Program

The ER Immerse Program will prepare veterinarians for a sustainable and satisfying career in emergency medicine. Built from the ground up to be different than traditional rotating internship programs, the ERi program has been developed around a curriculum of core competencies essential for an emergency veterinarian. In addition to providing training around clinical knowledge and skills, the program also includes a focus on client and team member communication, professional skills, and life/work integration.

The ER Immerse program utilizes a hybrid training approach incorporating simulation-based didactic components into authentic training experiences with live patients. The curriculum is designed using an evidence-based strategy identifying competencies and skills deemed essential for a successful career as an emergency clinician.

Work authorization in the United States is a requirement for the position. This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship by the company, but candidates eligible for TN status may be considered.

Compensation and Benefits:

Compensation During Mentorship:

Starting salary- $140,000

Compensation After Completion of ER Immerse:

Starting at $180,000-pro/sal compensation model

Program Duration/Commitment

6-12 month training program beginning June 2027 *Rolling Start Dates Available

2-year commitment as an ER clinician at AEC

Program Highlights

4-day work week with 3 clinical days, 2 in the ER and 1 in the local shelter for surgeries and 1 didactic day

S Schedule: Enjoy a four-day work week designed to balance hands-on clinical experience with dedicated learning. Your week will include two clinical days in the ER, one day at a local shelter focused on surgical experience, and one dedicated didactic day.
