Contract | Travel | Days | 6:45 AM – 7:15 PM | 8-Week Assignment

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) setting
• Respond rapidly to changing patient conditions and critical care needs as part of a rapid response team
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to deliver safe, high-quality nursing care to pediatric patients
• Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes in accordance with facility protocols
• Adhere to all unit-specific policies, including timekeeping procedures and dress code requirements

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license valid in North Carolina or a compact state
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a PICU or pediatric critical care setting
• Rapid Response nursing experience required
• Ability to commit to the full 8-week assignment with no time-off requests or special scheduling accommodations
• Expected schedule of 48 hours per week; overtime may be available beyond 48 hours

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in a high-acuity hospital or Level I/II trauma center environment
• Familiarity with KRONOS or similar electronic timekeeping systems
• Strong critical thinking and prioritization skills in rapidly evolving clinical situations
