Medical Assistant - Pulmonology & Sleep

Schedule
Shift: 5 x 8-hour days (day shift)

Assignment Details
Assignment length: 16 weeks (to cover leave)

Requirements
- Minimum experience: 6 months
- MA-C credential required
- BLS certification required
- Experience with Epic EMR required
- Clinical skills: rooming patients, measuring vitals, obtaining patient history/medications/allergies, venipuncture, specimen collection, nebulizer treatments, immunizations, TB testing, suture removal, hearing/vision screening, blood glucose checks, telephone triage, pharmacy refill calls, and follow-up calls.

Roles & Responsibilities
- Room patients and prepare charts prior to appointments.
- Answer patient questions via phone or electronic communication.
- Process patient paperwork accurately and efficiently.
- Ensure a smooth workflow in the outpatient clinic setting.

Compliance / Notes
- Submit 3 interview times (include time zone) when presenting candidate; triple-confirm candidate availability.
- No-call/no-show will disqualify candidate from future positions.
- References required: 2 covering 1 year within the last 3 years.
