Speech Therapist

Schedule - Shift - Hours Full Time - Days - 7:30 AM - 4:00PM Citizens Memorial Hospital (CMH) is seeking a Speech Therapist to join our team of professionals at the Ash Grove Family Medical Center in Ash Grove, Missouri — someone who leads with skill, compassion, and a drive to positively impact every patient and family we serve. What Your Day Looks Like: In this role, you will work with residents to providetherapies aimed at improvingcognitive, speech, and language deficits. As a Speech Therapist, you will be: Establishingan effective plan of care using appropriate skills for evaluation and screening Communicating effectively with patients, caregivers, physicians, and others Writing clear, concise, legible documentation that includes appropriate information for care planning Developing and implementing treatment plans that lead to optimal patient outcomes Utilizing equipment, supplies, and procedures appropriate to achieve intended outcomes Qualifications : Education: Graduation from an accredited college or university with a Master's Degree in Speech Language Pathology. ***Willing to consider someone who is in their CFYperiod for this position!*** Experience:1 year of experience preferred Licensure/Certification: Licensed by the Missouri Board of Registration for the Healing Arts; Current State of Missouri Speech Language Pathologist License Skills:Problem-solving, planning and time-management, verbal and non-verbalcommunication, basic computer skills, ability to work independently, and listening skills Physical Requirements: Stamina to sit for prolonged periods, walk and move frequently, and lift up to 20 lbs.
