CT Technologist Emergency Department

Schedule: Shift: 10-hour nights, MonThu, 21:0007:00

Assignment Details:

• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years CT experience
• Experience in a hospital with over 500 beds
• Certifications: ARRT (R), ARRT (CT), BLS
• Required equipment/experience: Siemens scanner experience
• EMR: EPIC required; Visage experience required

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Perform CT scans on patients of all ages in a fast-paced emergency department setting.
• Conduct core CT procedures including abdomen/pelvis, chest, head/neck, spine, and musculoskeletal imaging.
• Ensure proper administration of contrast materials and IV starts when necessary.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to provide high-quality patient care.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation through relevant EMR systems.

Compliance / Notes:

• Flu vaccine required; exemptions only for medical/religious reasons
• Must have license for NC or Compact
• Testing is required within 48 hours after signing
• RTO after booking is not allowed
• Internal notes reference potential weekend coverage and float expectations, to be confirmed with hiring manager.
