Travel RN – Emergency Department

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Travel | Days (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM) | 36 Hours per Week | 13-Week Assignment

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a 23-bed Emergency Department with patient ratios of 4 to 6
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for a diverse ED patient population
• Utilize Epic EMR to document patient information and maintain accurate medical records
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes
• Participate in every-other-weekend rotation as required by unit scheduling

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum 4–5 years of Emergency Department nursing experience
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
• Current CPI or MOAB certification (must be obtained prior to start)
• NIHSS certification required
• Proficiency with Epic EMR

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Charge nurse experience in an Emergency Department setting
• Familiarity with standard ED education modules and protocols
