Wednesday, Thursday, Friday 9AM-5PM Responsibilities:
- Assist clients with personal care tasks including bathing, grooming, and dressing.
- Provide meal preparation and ensure clients receive nutritious meals according to dietary requirements.
- Monitor and document patient observations, reporting any changes in health or behavior to the appropriate healthcare professionals.
- Support clients with mobility and transfers, including lifting when necessary, while adhering to safety protocols.
- Engage clients in meaningful activities that promote physical and emotional well-being.
- Assist with light housekeeping duties to maintain a safe and clean living environment for clients.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance the overall quality of life for clients.
- Follow care plans developed by healthcare professionals and participate in team meetings as required.
Columbus, Ohio (East side) Skills:
- Experience or training in home health aide is required.
- Knowledge of long-term care systems and practices is advantageous.
- Proficiency in CPR and basic first aid techniques is essential.
- Strong observational skills to monitor patient conditions effectively.
- Ability to lift patients safely using proper techniques and equipment.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with clients, families, and healthcare teams.
- Compassionate nature with a strong desire to help others improve their quality of life through dedicated care.
