Department Supervisor- Uptown Village at Cedar Hill

About the Role As a Department Supervisor, you will support the Sales and Profit goals in the store by executing a plan to deliver the best customer experience in your department and throughout the store. The role requires adherence to legal requirements and H&M standards, policies, and procedures to meet the expectations of customers and colleagues. A Day in the Life Customer Sales & Profit Support the total OMNI customer experience, ensuring visual and commercial curation according to global guidelines. Represent yourself and the H&M brand positively during customer interactions. Identify and act on commercial opportunities in partnership with your Department Manager. Ensure all staff promote and sell products, including the Customer Loyalty App (Hello Member) and in‑store sustainability initiatives. Maintain correct routines in fitting rooms and checkout, including transactions, returns, and exchanges. Handle all administrative routines for people and operations accurately. Fashion & Trend Awareness Stay current with fashion trends, brands, products, competitors, and relevant influencers. Equip your team with product and fashion knowledge for customer interactions. Team & Development Share knowledge and skills with the store team. Collaborate with the Visual Merchandiser team for planning and teamwork. Provide and receive constructive feedback to foster growth. Communicate regularly with store colleagues through daily and weekly meetings. Ensure all procedures, routines, and legal requirements are followed. Retail Operations / Visual & Commercial Execution Maintain a clean and tidy sales floor and back‑of‑house areas. Ensure high fashion quality, visual and commercial product presentation, and garment care. Maintain good stock levels and provide input on allocation to the Area team. Follow the full garment cycle, from delivery to presentation, and fitting room routines according to internal standards. Adopt best practices for in‑store OMNI services and technical tools (Instore Care App, Click & Collect, Smart Store, etc.). Ensure price signs are accurate and consistent with global and local strategies. Update and maintain BOH areas for all colleagues. Open and close the store daily. Achievement‑oriented, motivated by performance, competition, and customer focus. Compensation Expected base salary range: 19.22–22.39 hourly.
