Assistant Plant Controller
Blue Springs, MO (Local Candidates Preferred)
We are seeking an Assistant Controller to join the team of a leading manufacturing company in Blue Springs, MO. This is an excellent opportunity for an accounting or finance professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and wants to play a key role in driving financial performance, reporting accuracy, and operational success.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Previous experience in accounting, finance, or plant controlling within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial analysis.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and the ability to learn new ERP systems.
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work cross-functionally and build effective relationships throughout the organization.
• Fluent English communication skills required.

• Support financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and month-end close activities.
• Analyze and report plant financial performance, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Maintain and monitor standard costing, inventory controls, and financial reporting systems.
• Partner with operations, purchasing, quality, and supply chain teams to provide financial insight and support business decisions.
• Assist with cash flow management, capital expenditures, inventory controls, and supplier debit recovery activities.
• Maintain fixed asset records and ensure proper accounting treatment of capital investments.
• Support internal controls, audits, and compliance initiatives.
• Collaborate with shared service teams to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
• Help drive continuous improvement of financial processes and reporting tools.
