Join The Westerner Group, work Friday and Saturday from 8pm to 2:30am or 3am!

The Westerner has been serving customers since the 1960s and is known for loyal customers, experienced staff, and high-quality food and service.

Main Duties

• Scrape food scraps into trash before loading dishes.
• Remove all fruit, ice, straws and any debris from glasses
• Sort items by type (plates, utensils, glassware).
• Load racks correctly so water can reach all surfaces.
• Monitor water temperature and detergent levels.
• Unload and inspect dishes to ensure they are completely clean.
• Use the glassware dryer and properly store clean items.
• Keep the dish station clean and organized throughout your shift.
• Set up and break down nightly
• Run glassware when needed

1. Stay ahead of the rush. During busy periods, continuously move dishes through the machine rather than letting them pile up.
2. Organize as you go. Keep separate areas for dirty dishes, clean dishes, glassware, and kitchen equipment.
3. Work safely.
   • Wear non-slip shoes.
   • Use gloves when handling chemicals.
   • Be careful with knives and broken glass.
4. Dependable and punctual.
5. Able to work quickly without sacrificing cleanliness.
6. Comfortable standing for long periods.
7. A team player.
8. Willing to learn and help wherever needed.

Besides dishwashing, you'll also help with food running when needed:

• Help run food to customers.
• Assist with food preparation tasks.
• Sweep, mop, take out trash, and break down boxes.
• Follow health department sanitation standards.
• Remain calm and productive during busy Friday and Saturday evening shifts
