Registered Nurse Operating RoomJob Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Operating Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day 4x10-Hour Hours per Shift: 10 hours Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience required License: Valid RN Licensure Certifications: BLS required; CNOR preferred Must-Have: - Scrub and circulate experience required - Experience in cardiac, hepatobiliary, robotic, spine, and ophthalmology services requiredDescription: Provides direct and indirect patient care to clinic patients and their families, utilizing the nursing processes of comprehensive patient assessment. Develops and implements nursing care plans and provides patient education. Conducts ongoing evaluation and delivers holistic and individualized care to all patients. Develops, implements, and coordinates an optimal interdisciplinary plan of care that incorporates psychological, sociocultural, spiritual, economic, and lifestyle factors. Fosters and maintains collaborative relationships between patients, their families, physicians, and other healthcare providers through timely and effective communication. Patient age groups include neonates, adolescents, infants, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics. Additional unit details include specialties in cardiac, hepatobiliary, ophthalmology, general surgery, gynecology, orthopedic spine, neurosurgery, robotic surgery, and ENT. Special equipment includes advanced surgical systems and machines.
