Overview
Radiation Therapist (Radiation Therapy Tech) position in Glendale, California for a travel assignment starting 06/29/2026. Duration: 13 weeks. Weekly pay: $2,318–$2,518 per week. Shift: 5x8 Days. - Travel assignment in an outpatient radiation therapy program Responsibilities
- Administer prescribed radiation therapy to patients in the outpatient setting according to the treatment plan.
- Operate the linear accelerator and related equipment, performing daily quality assurance checks and ensuring safety standards.
- Verify patient identity, treatment site, and plan parameters; ensure accurate patient setup using imaging data and simulation information.
- Collaborate with the radiation oncology team, including physicians, dosimetrists, and fellow therapists, to ensure precise delivery and patient comfort.
- Document all treatments, dose information, and patient responses in the electronic medical record; report any deviations or adverse findings.
- Maintain radiation safety practices, infection control, and regulatory compliance throughout all procedures. Requirements
- ARRT certification in Radiation Therapy (ARRT-T) required
- Therapeutic Radiologic Technology (TRT) certification required
- Minimum 2 years of experience in the submitted unit specialty within the last 3 months
- BLS certification preferred
- Fluoroscopy permit from the state of practice preferred
- Must be eligible to work in the United States and able to travel to the assignment location Benefits and Support
