About the Role:

As a Cashier in the accommodation and food services industry, you will be the primary point of contact for customers during their purchase experience, ensuring smooth and efficient transactions. Your role is critical in maintaining customer satisfaction by providing friendly, accurate, and timely service at the cash register. You will handle cash, credit, and other forms of payment while adhering to company policies and procedures to ensure accuracy and security. Additionally, you will support the overall cleanliness and organization of the work environment, contributing to a welcoming atmosphere. Your ability to work a flexible schedule and manage multiple tasks will help maintain operational flow and enhance the customer experience.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Previous experience in cashiering or customer service roles.
• Basic math skills and ability to handle cash transactions accurately.
• Ability to perform repetitive motions and stand for extended periods.
• Capability to lift and carry heavy weights safely.
• Strong communication skills and phone etiquette.

Responsibilities:

• Operate the cash register to process customer purchases accurately and efficiently.
• Handle cash, credit, and electronic payments while ensuring proper transaction documentation.
• Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers, answering questions, and resolving issues promptly.
• Perform janitorial duties to maintain cleanliness and orderliness in the work area.
• Assist with lifting and carrying heavy items as needed to support store operations.
• Manage phone etiquette by answering calls professionally and directing inquiries appropriately.
• Work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, to meet business needs.
