Responsibilities include patient intake, administering medications, performing X-rays, laboratory tests, venipuncture, and patient follow-up. They ensure proper documentation, support patient flow, and maintain equipment safety standards. Key Duties Contribute to department goals, adhere to policies, procedures, and safety standards. Maintain equipment sterilization, prepare patient rooms, and support patient care with safety and quality focus. Utilize electronic health records and manage patient flow with effective communication. Perform diagnostic tests such as spirometry, EKGs, vision/hearing tests, and general patient care under supervision. Conduct venipuncture, point-of-care testing, and obtain radiologic images, forwarding images for review. Support patient education, coordination, and discharge processes to enhance patient experience. Assist in care pathways, participate in quality improvement, and support team efforts during workflow bottlenecks. Prepare and administer limited medications and injections after demonstrating competency. Qualifications & Skills Associate’s degree and completion of an approved Radiologic Technologist program. 1-2 years of medical office or externship experience preferred; relevant work experience may substitute education. ARRT certification and a valid state license (MD, VA, or DC). CPR certification required within 90 days. Clinical competency, excellent communication, patient interaction skills, and proficiency with electronic medical records. #J-18808-Ljbffr
