Registered Nurse (RN)

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to provide comprehensive care primarily for medical/surgical patients. This role will also require the ability to manage labor and delivery (L&D) and obstetric (OB) patients, ensuring their care through delivery and the postpartum period.

Shift Details

• Night shift
• Three 12-hour shifts per week
• Every other weekend required
• Blocked scheduling is an option, allowing for extended shifts over weekends
• No scheduled on-call hours

Patient Care Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care predominantly for medical/surgical patients with a patient ratio of 1:4.
• Deliver high-quality care to L&D and OB patients, ensuring a smooth transition through delivery and postpartum recovery.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to implement patient care plans effectively.

Technology Used

• Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems: Cerner and Centricity (for OB)

Qualifications

• Current RN licensure.
• Experience in medical/surgical nursing preferred.
• Competence in L&D and OB nursing practices is essential.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure in a critical access environment.
