Mental Health Counselor
Alpine Integrative Wellness
Are you a compassionate, motivated therapist who wants your work to genuinely change lives in the Wood River Valley? Are you excited to do great clinical work while growing as a clinician yourself? We're looking for a Mental Health Therapist to join our growing team in the greater Boise area, with offices in Boise and Meridian. We're a practice built on a simple idea: therapists do their best work when they're well trained, well supported, and not buried in administrative noise. Build a schedule that actually fits your life. Want more in-person time? Also great. Many of our clinicians work Monday through Thursday, starting around 10 or 11 a.m. and wrapping up by 6 or 7 p.m. This is a hybrid-friendly role, and you have real freedom to design your week. Prefer four days in the office and one from home? Great. Sustainable clinical work isn't a perk here; it's how we run the place. Focus on the work you trained for. Our office team handles intake screenings and client matching, so your energy goes where it belongs: into the room with clients. What we offer: Competitive pay starting at $45 to $50 per hour, plus additional compensation for administrative work Fully licensed clinicians make $95,000/year averaging 25 clients/week An extra $2.50/hour for Spanish-speaking clinicians Full healthcare coverage: medical, vision, and dental. We'll cover most of your individual premium. SIMPLE IRA retirement plan with employer-matched contributions Continuing Education Units to support your growth and license renewal Ongoing supervision and mentorship to advance your licensure and sharpen your clinical skills All of our offices are NHSC-approved sites, opening the door to significant federal student loan repayment ($25,000 - $50,000 in loan forgiveness)If you're ready to do meaningful work alongside people who take clinical excellence seriously, we'd love to hear from you. Responsibilities: • • Provide compassionate and effective therapy to clients, focusing on their unique needs and goals. • Collaborate with clients to develop personalized treatment plans that promote mental health and well-being. • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client sessions and treatment progress. • Participate in regular supervision and training to enhance clinical skills and professional development. • Work closely with our administrative team to ensure seamless client intake and scheduling processes. • Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in mental health therapy. • Foster a supportive and inclusive environment for clients from diverse backgrounds and experiences. Qualifications: What You'll Bring A Master's or Doctoral degree in a mental health field (MA, MS, MSW, PhD, PsyD, or similar). Idaho licensure or license eligibility. We welcome fully licensed clinicians (LCPC, LCSW, LMFT, licensed psychologists), and we genuinely welcome early-career clinicians working toward full licensure (LPC, LMSW, LAMFT, registered interns). If you're building your hours, we want to hear from you. Strong clinical judgment, professionalism, and real ethical integrity. Clients trust us with hard things, and we take that seriously. Openness to feedback and a genuine appetite for learning. The best clinicians we know are the ones still asking questions. Curiosity about attachment-based and somatic approaches to therapy. If names like Diane Poole Heller, Peter Levine, Stan Tatkin, or Dan Siegel light you up, you'll find your people here. If they're new to you and you're eager to dig in, that works too. Comfort with technology, or the willingness to get comfortable. Why Early-Career Clinicians Thrive Here We're a post-graduate clinical training center as well as a practice. If you're accruing hours toward your LCPC, LCSW, or LMFT, you'll get structured supervision from clinicians who actually want to teach, not just sign off on paperwork. Compensation: $45 - $50 hourly
