Teachers Now is hiring Substitute Teachers to support schools throughout the San Antonio area. If you're looking for a flexible opportunity to work with students, gain classroom experience, and make a difference, we'd love to have you join our team!

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM–4:30 PM

(School hours may vary by campus.)

Substitute Teacher Responsibilities

• Follow lesson plans and guide students through daily instruction
• Maintain a positive, respectful classroom environment
• Manage student behavior and keep students engaged
• Supervise students during transitions, lunch, and recess as needed
• Communicate with school administrators and staff

For long-term assignments, additional responsibilities may include lesson planning and enhanced classroom support.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 60 college credit hours OR an Associate's Degree
• At least one year of childcare, tutoring, mentoring, coaching, or related experience preferred
• Strong communication and classroom management skills
• Reliable, adaptable, and professional
• Passion for supporting student learning in a K–12 environment
