People Operations Specialist

The role owns core people operations functions, managing HR systems, onboarding workflows, and internal communications to ensure a seamless employee experience. The people team relies on this position to maintain compliance, administer benefits, and scale people-operations infrastructure as the organization grows. Key Responsibilities Manage the end-to-end employee lifecycle including onboarding, offboarding, and HRIS data maintenance Administer US benefits programs, leaves of absence, and payroll coordination with finance teams Maintain HR compliance across federal, state, and local regulations and update employee handbooks Resolve day-to-day employee inquiries regarding payroll, benefits, and company policies with high empathy and confidentiality Partner with people leadership to execute engagement surveys, performance review cycles, and team-building initiatives Audit HR systems regularly to ensure data integrity across HRIS, ATS, and identity management tools like Rippling or BambooHR What We Are Looking For 2-4 years of experience in human resources, people operations, or talent administration within a fast-paced environment Hands-on experience with modern HRIS and payroll platforms (e.g., Rippling, Deel, Workday, or BambooHR) Strong working knowledge of employment laws, compliance standards, and data privacy best practices Exceptional communication skills and rigorous attention to detail handling sensitive personnel data Bachelor degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field Bonus: Experience scaling operations across remote-first distributed teams or holding a SHRM-CP or PHR certification #J-18808-Ljbffr
