Job Title: Cardiac Intensive Care Unit Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Cardiac Intensive Care Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Night Shift Hours per Shift: 12 Hours Experience: Minimum of 1 Year Recent Experience in Specialty License: Registered Nurse License (State License or Compact License) Certifications: AHA ACLS, AHA BLS, AHANI Certification (American Heart Association), Red Cross Certification Must-Have: - Associate's Degree in Nursing - 1 Year of Recent Experience in Cardiac Intensive Care Description: This position requires a nurse willing to float to other units as needed. Complex monitoring and treatment of adult cardiac patients will be the primary responsibility. The unit provides high acuity care and receives patients requiring specialized cardiac care. Nurses must demonstrate a high level of professional competency. They are expected to collaborate with all disciplines of the care team to achieve optimal patient outcomes. A commitment to creating a pleasant and comfortable patient experience in a safe environment is essential. Experience in the Cardiac Intensive Care setting is preferred. Certifications in pediatric advanced life support are preferred if applicable. Candidates must have at least 1 year of recent experience in the required specialty area.
