Our office operates from Monday to Thursday, 7 AM to 5 PM, and Friday from 7 AM to 1 PM, ensuring no night or weekend shifts. We are seeking a Dental Hygienist who embodies a positive demeanor, possesses strong multitasking abilities, takes initiative, and is eager to learn. Key Responsibilities: Prepare dental hygiene instruments by sharpening, sterilizing, and selecting appropriate tools. Apply fluoride treatments and sealants to help prevent dental decay. Perform dental prophylaxis by removing deposits and stains from teeth and below gum lines. Conduct oral cancer screenings and assess gum health to detect diseases. Utilize digital radiographs and intraoral cameras for diagnostics. Document conditions related to dental decay and disease for the dentist's evaluation and treatment. Familiarity with Eaglesoft/Dexis software is advantageous but not mandatory. Manage patient appointments: 1-hour for prophylaxis, 1.5 hours for scaling and root planing (SRP), and 1.5 hours for new patient evaluations.
