We are seeking a Class A CDL Driver to transport dry van freight on local routes using day cab tractors. This role performs drop-and-hook operations, maintains accurate delivery records, and reports to the Operations Manager. The position offers local work, weekly pay, and advancement opportunities including Lead Driver, Driver Trainer, Fleet Supervisor, and Dispatch Coordinator.

Responsibilities

• Drive local routes and transport dry van freight safely and efficiently.
• Perform drop-and-hook operations using day cab tractors.
• Complete pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Use electronic logging devices and maintain accurate driving records.
• Complete delivery documentation accurately and promptly.
• Follow DOT requirements, company policies, and safety procedures.

Required Qualifications

• Commercial vehicle operation experience and knowledge of drop-and-hook procedures.
• Proficiency with electronic logging devices.
• Knowledge of DOT compliance and defensive driving practices.
• Ability to perform pre-trip inspections and navigate assigned routes.
• Strong time management, safety awareness, and customer service skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• One or more years of commercial truck driving experience.
• Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License.
• Current DOT medical certificate.
