About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President, Corporate Controller to join their team. This senior leadership role is pivotal in leading the accounting operations, consolidated financial reporting, internal controls environment, and tax function. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the integrity of financial data, ensuring compliance with US GAAP and regulatory requirements, and leading a high-performing accounting team. Key responsibilities include financial reporting, internal controls, audit and compliance, systems and process improvement, treasury, working capital, and operational support. The role also involves tax oversight and participation in special projects, as well as leadership and team development. Candidates for this role at The Company should have a Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field, with an active CPA license and at least 12 years' of progressive accounting and financial reporting experience. Strong technical accounting knowledge, experience with US GAAP, and a proven track record in managing external audit relationships and leading internal control improvement initiatives are essential. The ideal candidate will have a background in a manufacturing, engineering, project-based, or industrial business environment, and experience with intercompany accounting in a multinational structure. Proficiency in ERP/accounting systems is required, and experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central or similar is a plus. The role demands a detail-oriented, practical, and solutions-oriented individual with strong leadership presence and the ability to engage with executive leadership and the Board.
