General Manager
Position: Pizza Hut Restaurant General Manager (RGM)
Job Summary: Reports to District Manager - Drive the Financial and Operational Performance for Your Store by Empowering and Engaging Your Team to Grow Each Day. Create a Culture That Aligns with Tasty Hut, LLC Core Values and Ensures Operational Excellence.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Oversee all staff and operations in your restaurant with an entrepreneurial mindset
- Hire, train, build a bench of shift leaders and team members in restaurant
- Own and promote positive restaurant culture and employee experience (Live Life Unboxed!)
- Maintain excellent customer service standards
- Enforce and follow Pizza Hut service principals (Deliver it fast, make food we are proud to service, service with a smile)
- Responsible for oversight and execution of all store inventory, forecasting, scheduling processes
- Ensure all team members have the tools and knowledge necessary for success
- Partner with field marketing manager and director of field compliance to grow sales and partner with community
- Develop a store team that has high customer satisfaction results
- Ensure restaurant meets/exceeds all Tasty Hut, LLC and Pizza Hut brand standards and processes (Food, restaurant and driver safety, CHAMPS, brand standards, FSSC, CORE)
- Work with district manager to keep facility up to standard and in good repair
- Responsible for restaurant P&L management
- Evaluate and improve operational and financial performance of restaurant
- Communicate company initiatives and programs to restaurant teams
- Own the career development and performance management process for restaurant team (MSM)
- Expert knowledge and utilization of Pizza Hut provided tools (Hutlink, Learning Zone, Pizzapedia)
- Executes all Pizza Hut provided training material and courses, follows up with store teams
- Compliant with all laws and regulations
- Ensures a safe work environment is provided in restaurant
- Maintains a clean, organized restaurant that meets all health and safety regulations
- Demonstrate trade area knowledge
- Manage and maintain positive vendor relationships
- Brand steward for Pizza Hut brand
- Maintain restaurant calendar
- Manages and adheres to Tasty Hut, LLC handbook and policies
- Effectively communicates and executes company initiatives by managing performance of restaurant team
- Maintains professional image and highly ethical conduct as representative of Tasty Hut, LLC
- Exhibit Tasty Hut, LLC core values and work daily to fulfill mission and vision
- Other duties as assigned
Training/Requirements:
- Be a customer maniac! - all roles
- Serv Safe certified
- Lead On! Shift leader
- MSM course 10
- Proficient at Microsoft Office
- Lead On! General manager and computer basics
- Reliable transportation
- Communicate, give feedback
- Valid driver's license and car insurance required
- Adhere to GM schedule requirements (peak hours)
- Motor vehicle record check
