Strategic Internal Communications Specialist

Responsibilities Review the LRP communications strategy and contribute ideas and suggestions to ensure it meets the Organizational Change Management work stream goals. Review and edit general communications plans, including content, to ensure that a multi‑channel approach is used and that emails, meeting materials, posters, videos, handouts, etc. resonate with their intended audience. Review and edit design materials (letters, forms, flows) to ensure editorial/tone consistency and client understanding. Attend meetings to represent the Communications Division and provide input; share updates with Communications division leaders, with recommendations for next steps. Draft and edit internal communications plans, as well as content for NYCERS website, portal, letters, fact sheets, forms, brochures, and other marketing material. Work collaboratively with Business Units, Business Analysts, and IT to ensure that materials created are accurate and clear before they are put into production.
