If you're ready for a challenge supported by a culture of safety, stability growth and a positive work environment, we invite you to begin your journey with us.Pay Details$28.00 - $38.00 per hourScheduleTuesday - Saturday - 11:00 am - 7:30 pm OR Sunday - Thursday - 5:00 am - 1:30 pmResponsibilitiesPerform preventive maintenance on trucks and trailers while utilizing personal safety equipment as required.Move trucks and trailers in and out of shop for maintenanceOpen repair orders and charge the appropriate parts to the repair orderPerform tire inspections/appropriate paperwork to company standardsPerforms shop clean-up and housekeeping responsibilities as well as other miscellaneous related duties as assigned.Inspects and maintains basic vehicle/accessorial worthiness including proper fuel levels and tire air pressure, fluid levels, brakes, lights, and safety equipment and submits reports indicating condition of equipment.Comprehend and perform Driver Vehicle Inspection Repair (DVIR) processDiagnose and repair: Tire/wheel, Brakes & Air Systems, Clutch & Linkage, Mud flaps/hangersQualificationsMust have a valid driver's license3 - 5 years experience maintaining trucksAbility to provide own basic hand toolsBasic computer skillsAbility to read and comprehend service manualsKnowledge of tools and equipment used in the shop to repair and maintain company equipmentA basic knowledge of tractor and trailer maintenanceKnowledge of D.O.T. regulations and out-of-service parameters for tractors, trailers, and accessorial equipment.Knowledge of proper procedures for handling and disposal of hazardous waste materials.BenefitsHoliday and vacation payMedical, dental, and vision insuranceEmployee Assistance ProgramLife Insurance & Disability InsuranceFlexible Spending Accounts (Health & Dependent Care)401 (K)Profit sharing with company match (fully vested after 3 years)Safety CommitmentsWe make safety a part of every decisionWe make safety personalWe have the courage to intervenePay RangeUSD $28.00 - USD $38.00 /Hr.
