Maintenance Supervisor, Multifamily Lorenzo Commons ( Job Description Summary: The Maintenance Supervisor provides maintenance support and is accountable for delivering on our commitments to our residents through quality move‑in, resident satisfaction, timely service and personal attention. Essential Duties Prepares all market‑ready apartments, including painting, carpet cleaning/repair, general repairs, and housekeeping to ensure a quality product for residents. Completely resident service requests in a timely manner. Maintains knowledge of plumbing, pool maintenance, air conditioning, heating, general carpentry, appliances, electrical, painting, caulking, snow removal, scheduling, and life‑safety issues. Mares grounds, pools/hot tubs, common areas, and dog parks clean, free of trash, debris, and safety hazards. Performs on‑call emergency procedures as required. Reports maintenance issues affecting budget such as life safety, vacant repairs, property damages, and common‑area needs to the manager. Schedules and performs preventative maintenance and records related activities. Applies knowledge of state, local, and federal housing laws, codes, policies, and systems regarding maintenance. Attends and participates in training programs required by Cushman & Wakefield and local jurisdictions. Provides superior customer service and represents the company professionally at all times. Competencies Ability to work any shift Sunday–Saturday. Knowledge of safe use of cleaning agents and equipment. Basic arithmetic skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, rates, ratios, percentages) and ability to prepare and interpret bar graphs. Valid Driver’s License; CPO if required by city or state. EPA608 certification (Minimum TypeII). Adherence to Cushman & Wakefield safety policies and procedures. Education High School Diploma, GED, Trade, Technical, or Vocational school. Experience 3+ years of related experience; EPA608 – Minimum TypeII, CPO, or local city required certificate. Work Environment This job operates in a professional office environment and requires regular travel between properties in varying weather conditions. Standard office equipment (computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, fax machines) is used daily. Physical Demands Stand and walk for extended periods; ascend/descend staircases, ladders, or step stools; travel between buildings. Perform stationary tasks (sit or stand) for 85% of the time. Operate office machinery; travel up to 10% of the time. Exert up to 100 pounds occasionally or frequently to lift, carry, push, pull, or move objects. Compensation and Benefits Competitive pay ranges from $19.55 to $23.00 per hour.
