Mammography Technologist

We are partnering with a premier healthcare organization in the Atlanta market to hire a full-time, permanent Mammography Technologist . This opportunity offers the chance to join a collaborative breast imaging team dedicated to providing exceptional patient care and advancing women's health through early detection and high-quality imaging services. Responsibilities: Perform mammography exams and assist with breast-related invasive procedures. Assess patient needs by reviewing physician orders, medical history, and diagnostic information. Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams to coordinate patient care. Practice radiation safety and ensure compliance with departmental and regulatory standards. Educate patients and families regarding procedures and care plans. Document procedures and patient care activities accurately and thoroughly. Participate in quality improvement initiatives and ongoing professional development. Support and mentor students, new staff, and less experienced technologists as needed. Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited School of Radiologic Technology. Registered Radiologic Technologist (ARRT). Advanced Mammography Certification (ARRT-M) required. Minimum of two years of radiologic technology experience, including at least one year of mammography experience. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
