We are seeking a physician assistant who is kind, sees opportunities to innovate and collaborate, and is open to unique perspectives. About the Role: As a physician assistant at Neighborhood, you will work in a collaborative team to provide patient-centered care, including care for people who may otherwise not have access. You and the clinical staff will design and implement individualized care in a setting where each patient is treated with respect and compassion. You will have opportunities to influence decisions regarding care. Essential responsibilities include:- Oversee and provide direct patient primary care under supervision of a physician
- Facilitate care coordination and clinical collaboration under supervision of a physician
- Ensure quality care and risk mitigation under supervision of a physician
- Physician Assistant, licensed in NYS prior to start date
- Candidates with 3 or more years of experiences will be given preference
- Outstanding “bedside manners”: patient-centric with empathy, excellent active listening and communication skills, engaging and efficient
- Outstanding clinical capabilities and judgment
- Kindness: you treat each person with respect and compassion, valuing each person’s story
- Resiliency: you see opportunities to innovate and find solutions when challenges arise
- Teamwork: you are open to others’ unique perspectives, and will collaborate to meet shared goals

- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high accountability environment
- Proficient in EHR systems
- Ability to prioritize resources where they will be most useful
- Comfortable receiving and providing appreciative and corrective feedback
- Engaged in learning and continuous quality improvement
- Outstanding written and verbal communications skills with a culturally diverse patient and staff population
- Proficient in working with in-person or telephonic interpreters
