Registered Behavior Technician
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our team in Ashburn, VA. In this critical role, you will work collaboratively with educators, specialists, and families to implement behavior intervention plans, support student learning, and foster a positive educational environment. Your expertise in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) will be instrumental in enhancing the educational experiences of students with diverse learning needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
- Collect, record, and analyze data on student behavior and progress.
- Support teachers and staff in applying ABA strategies effectively within the classroom setting.
- Facilitate communication between students, parents, and educational professionals.
- Participate in team meetings to discuss student progress and modify intervention plans as necessary.
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical guidelines in all interactions.
Qualifications:
- Current certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT).
- Experience working with children in an educational setting, preferably with individuals with special needs.
- Strong understanding of ABA principles and behavior intervention techniques.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team and independently manage time effectively.
