You will be providing comprehensive care for patients with illnesses within the scope of Gastroenterology. Gastroenterologist Work Hours: Monday - Friday (8:00 AM - 4:30 PM) Key Responsibilities Provide primary, secondary, and tertiary care in both hospitalized and outpatient settings. Diagnose and manage patients' health problems and design diagnostic and therapeutic plans. Perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures including colonoscopy, polypectomy, flexible sigmoidoscopy, upper GI endoscopy, esophageal ligation or banding of varices, dilation of the esophagus (bouginage), and small bowel biopsy. Qualifications Currently licensed in a State, Territory, or the District of Columbia. Preferably certified or qualified for examination by the American Board of Internal Medicine or other appropriate specialty certifying boards. Why Join Us?
