Maintenance Mechanic

We are seeking a proactive and skilled Maintenance Mechanic to join our dynamic team! In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting a wide range of mechanical and electrical equipment across our facilities. You will work closely with other maintenance professionals, utilizing your mechanical knowledge and service technician experience to keep equipment in top condition. Duties Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on machinery, HVAC systems, refrigeration units, and electrical equipment to prevent breakdowns and extend lifespan. Troubleshoot and repair mechanical issues using schematics, technical manuals, and diagnostic tools. Conduct appliance repairs and service calls for various appliances and equipment across the facility. Install, modify, and upgrade mechanical systems including air conditioning units, HVAC/R systems, and refrigeration equipment. Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical diagrams to accurately diagnose problems and execute repairs. Lead small teams or coordinate with contractors during complex maintenance or construction projects. Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs performed, parts used, and system performance logs. Skills Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in appliance repair, HVAC/R systems, refrigeration, and equipment maintenance. Proven service technician experience with the ability to troubleshoot complex mechanical issues efficiently. Ability to read schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals accurately. Knowledge of HVAC systems including air conditioning units and refrigeration technology. Experience in construction or building maintenance is a plus. Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to guide team members or coordinate with contractors effectively.
