Akron, OH | $25–$28/hour, based on experience
Growing plastics manufacturer seeking an experienced Blown Film Extrusion Operator to join their team in the greater Akron, OH area.
This is a great opportunity for an operator who knows blown-film extrusion, can troubleshoot independently, and wants to join a stable manufacturing operation where their experience is valued.
What You’ll Do
- Operate and monitor blown-film extrusion equipment
- Set up lines, make process adjustments, and perform changeovers
- Troubleshoot film quality and production issues
- Monitor temperatures, pressures, gauges, bubble control, and film properties
- Maintain production and quality standards
- Work closely with maintenance and production teams to keep equipment running efficiently
What We’re Looking For
- Blown-film extrusion experience required
- Strong understanding of blown-film processing and troubleshooting
- Experience with line setup/changeovers
- Mechanical aptitude and attention to quality
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
