PUNCH/ L ASER LEAD OPERATOR
Monday - Friday
7:00 am - 3:00 pm
$20.00 - $30.00 per hour
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Operate and monitor punch and laser machines to ensure proper function and quality
- Detect and troubleshoot malfunctions or misalignments during operation
- Install, align, and secure punches and dies using gauges and hand tools
- Inspect finished pieces for accuracy using visual checks and measuring tools
- Read job orders to determine hole locations or cutting lines
- Maintain count of parts being run
- Keep work area clean, organized, and safe
- Select proper tools and dies for each job
- Determine necessary tools and equipment for assigned tasks
- Proficient in reading and understanding technical instructions
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints
- Familiarity with machine tools and mechanical systems, including maintenance
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Strong math skills and mechanical reasoning
