Job Description

PUNCH/ L ASER LEAD OPERATOR

Monday - Friday

7:00 am - 3:00 pm

$20.00 - $30.00 per hour

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

Operate and monitor punch and laser machines to ensure proper function and quality
Detect and troubleshoot malfunctions or misalignments during operation
Install, align, and secure punches and dies using gauges and hand tools
Inspect finished pieces for accuracy using visual checks and measuring tools
Read job orders to determine hole locations or cutting lines
Maintain count of parts being run
Keep work area clean, organized, and safe
Select proper tools and dies for each job
Determine necessary tools and equipment for assigned tasks
Proficient in reading and understanding technical instructions

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Ability to read and interpret blueprints
Familiarity with machine tools and mechanical systems, including maintenance
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
Strong math skills and mechanical reasoning
