In this role, the Senior Contracts Manager will support DoW Customers, you will be trusted to manage and resolve actions timely.HOW A SENIOR CONTRACTS MANAGER WILL MAKE AN IMPACT:
- Manages contracts administrators
- Manages the negotiation and administration of assigned contracts, ensuring contractual compliance with relevant terms and conditions
- Negotiates contracts, including price, terms and conditions, and reviews contractual documents for legal sufficiency prior to execution
- Ensures internal contractual compliance with relevant terms and conditions and compliance with designated management objectives
- Serves as point of contact with internal departments concerning specific contract questions, issues, and problems
WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree. In lieu of degree, 9+ years of related contracts administration experience required.
- Experience: 5+ years of related contracts administration experience
- Required Technical Skills: Microsoft Office Suite
- Required Skills and Abilities: Knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, terms, conditions, and policies governing assigned including FAR and DFAR. Effective administrative, organizational, and communication skills. Understanding of business acumen. Previous leadership experience.
- Preferred Skills and Abilities: Professional certification (e.g., CPCM/CFCM). 5-10 years of related contracts management experience.
- Security clearance level : Must be able to obtain and maintain a secret security clearance
- Location : This position requires to work in our GDIT facility in either Falls Church, VA or Chesapeake, VA. Must be able to work in the office 5 days/week.
