Field System Engineer

Do you prefer solving real engineering problems to sitting in meetings talking about them? I’m recruiting for a hands-on engineering position working with complex technology in aerospace and defence environments. The role sits between software engineering, systems integration, networking and technical deployment. You’ll work with technology from development through to real-world implementation, helping install systems, diagnose technical problems, support customers and improve the underlying product. The ideal candidate will have experience in aerospace or defence and a technical background covering some combination of: C++, C or Python Networking Embedded systems Systems integration You don’t need to fit neatly into one engineering category. In fact, candidates with broad technical experience are likely to be the strongest fit. You’ll need to be comfortable getting close to the technology, investigating difficult problems and working directly with both engineers and customers.
