Our strategic objectives include reaching approximately 95 active customers by the end of 2027 and pursuing a longer-term expansion toward 1,000 customers by the end of 2028. The Opportunity Padlon is seeking motivated, experienced Business Development Executives to help expand our cybersecurity advisory customer base. This is a commission-based opportunity with uncapped earning potential , designed for self-directed professionals who enjoy developing executive relationships, identifying business challenges, and selling high-value professional services. Unlike traditional transactional sales positions, this opportunity centers on building a portfolio of recurring-revenue customers. Successful representatives can earn commissions on new customer contracts and eligible renewals, creating opportunities for continued income as their customer portfolio grows. As Padlon expands, successful early sales contributors may be considered for future salaried sales management, regional leadership, and business development leadership positions. What You'll Do Identify and develop new business opportunities with small and midsized organizations, typically employing 50–500 people. Build relationships with CEOs, CFOs, COOs, CIOs, and other senior decision-makers. Introduce Padlon's vCISO, CyberAssure 360, compliance, and managed cybersecurity services. Conduct consultative discovery conversations to understand customer cybersecurity challenges, regulatory obligations, and business risks. Develop and manage a qualified sales pipeline using HubSpot CRM. Collaborate directly with Padlon's executive leadership on technical discovery, proposals, and closing strategies. Build long-term customer relationships that support retention, renewals, and expansion opportunities. Our Target Markets Our initial business development focus includes: Healthcare and Healthcare Services: HIPAA compliance, patient data protection, cyber risk management, and executive security oversight. Defense Contractors and Manufacturers: CMMC readiness, NIST SP 800-171, supply-chain security, and government contracting requirements. Financial and Professional Services: Client confidentiality, regulatory compliance, third-party risk, and cybersecurity governance. Our ideal customers generally generate $10 million–$150 million in annual revenue and need experienced cybersecurity leadership without the expense of a full-time CISO. Compensation and Earning Potential We believe sales professionals who help build long-term customer relationships should participate in the recurring revenue those relationships generate. Our proposed commission structure includes: 15% commission on collected recurring service revenue during a new customer's first 12 months. 5% recurring commission on eligible customer renewal revenue, beginning in month 13. Additional commission opportunities for qualifying cybersecurity assessments, compliance projects, and other professional services. No predetermined cap on commission earnings. For illustration, a customer purchasing $3,000 per month in vCISO services represents $36,000 in annual recurring revenue and potentially $5,400 in first-year commissions. A portfolio of 20 such new customers could generate $108,000 in first-year commissions, assuming all customers remain active and pay for the full year. Actual earnings depend on sales performance, customer retention, collected revenue, and the final commission agreement. Earnings are not guaranteed. This position does not initially include a base salary. Compensation terms, payment timing, renewal eligibility, and other conditions will be established in a written agreement. What We're Looking For The ideal candidate brings experience in B2B business development, professional services, technology, cybersecurity, managed IT services, insurance, or other consultative sales environments. We particularly value individuals who demonstrate: A successful track record of originating and closing B2B opportunities. Confidence engaging business owners and senior executives. Experience selling recurring services or long-term business relationships. Strong prospecting, networking, and relationship development skills. The ability to work independently and manage a disciplined sales pipeline. Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. An entrepreneurial mindset and interest in helping build a growing organization. Cybersecurity experience is highly desirable but not required for candidates with strong consultative sales backgrounds. Padlon's leadership will provide service knowledge and technical sales support.
