About the Role

The Company is seeking a Chief Product and Technology Officer (CPTO) to lead a transformative phase in its market-leading admissions and enrollment management software business. The successful candidate will be at the forefront of a modernization and platform inflection, unifying product vision and technology execution to evolve the current model into a modern, scalable SaaS platform. This role demands a proven SaaS leader with a deep understanding of product thinking and technical delivery, particularly in the context of AI-embedded product capabilities. The CPTO will be responsible for setting product direction, owning the technical foundation, and driving a culture of transformation. They must have a track record of leading technology and product transformation, shipping AI-embedded product capabilities, and owning a SaaS platform's security and compliance requirements. Key responsibilities for the CPTO include defining and executing the technical vision for the platform, driving the consolidation of the legacy codebase, and designing a data architecture that supports analytics, BI, and AI. The role also involves building and leading a high-performing engineering team, establishing engineering and product-ops practices, and managing technical debt. The ideal candidate will have experience in EdTech or a comparable vertical SaaS with heavy customization patterns, and a background in AWS-primary infrastructure environments with regulated data. They should be adept at making architecture and product investment decisions with a direct commercial rationale and be able to represent the product and technology vision convincingly in executive, customer, and board conversations.
