We are a friendly, patient-focused private dental office dedicated to providing high-quality, personalized care in a comfortable environment. Our team values professionalism, compassion, and building long-term relationships with our patients.
Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Dental Hygienist to join our team on a part-time basis. The ideal candidate is confident working independently, committed to patient education, and takes pride in delivering excellent clinical care.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine dental cleanings (prophylaxis, scaling, and polishing)
- Take and process dental X-rays independently
- Conduct periodontal assessments and charting
- Educate patients on oral hygiene and preventive care
- Maintain accurate and thorough patient records
- Follow all infection control and sterilization protocols
- Ensure a positive and comfortable patient experience
Qualifications:
- Active Dental Hygienist license (state required)
- Radiography certification (ability to take own X-rays)
- Strong clinical and communication skills
- Friendly, professional demeanor with a patient-first attitude
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
