Job description:

Shift: Day Shift – Monday–Friday (6:45 AM – 4:30 PM)

Job Overview:

We are actively hiring an experienced  Interventional Radiology Technologist (IR Tech)for a 13-week travel contract in La Jolla, CA. This role is scheduled Monday through Friday with no weekends required and involves working in both the Interventional Lab and Operating Room settings.

This is an excellent opportunity for a strong IR Tech with recent EPIC experience and a solid travel background.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist physicians during interventional radiology procedures
• Scrub and circulate in IR procedures
• Operate fluoroscopy and imaging equipment
• Maintain sterile technique in IR and OR environments
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams
• Document accurately using EPIC EMR

Submission Requirements:

• No local candidates within a 100-mile radius

Additional Information:

• COVID-19 Vaccine Required (Medical/Religious exemptions accepted)
• Floating may be required based on facility needs
• Weekday schedule – No weekends required

Requirements

• ARRT (R) with Fluoroscopy Permit (Required – In Hand at Submission)
• CRT – Required
• BLS (AHA) – Required
• Minimum 1.5+ years continuous experience in Interventional Radiology
• Ability to scrub in IR procedures
• Experience in both IR Lab and OR settings
• EPIC experience within the last 6 months
• Minimum 1 year total travel experience
• 6+ months continuous recent travel experience (no significant gaps)
