Job Title: Project Manager

Employment Type: Full Time     

Location: Goldsboro, NC    

Pay: $DOE per year   

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7am-5pm 

Job Summary:          

The Construction Project Manager is responsible for planning, managing, and delivering construction projects from preconstruction through closeout. This position oversees project scope, schedule, budget, contracts, procurement, quality, safety, and stakeholder coordination to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with contractual requirements.         

Key Responsibilities: 

·  Lead the planning, execution, and closeout of construction projects, including scope, schedule, budget, staffing, and execution strategies.

·  Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, cost forecasts, procurement plans, and cash-flow projections.

·  Manage project financial performance, including cost tracking, commitments, change management, forecasting, and profitability.

·  Coordinate and direct superintendents, project engineers, subcontractors, vendors, consultants, and other project stakeholders.

·  Administer contracts, subcontracts, purchase orders, and change orders, ensuring compliance with contractual requirements.

·  Manage RFIs, submittals, design coordination, shop drawings, material approvals, and resolution of technical and field issues.

·  Monitor construction progress, productivity, schedule performance, and resource utilization; implement corrective actions when required.

·  Establish and maintain quality assurance/quality control (QA/QC) processes and ensure compliance with project specifications and applicable codes.

·  Promote a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with OSHA and project-specific safety requirements.

·  Identify and mitigate schedule, cost, contractual, technical, safety, and procurement risks.

·  Lead project meetings, including preconstruction, subcontractor coordination, owner, progress, and closeout meetings.

·  Maintain effective communication and relationships with owners, clients, architects, engineers, subcontractors, vendors, inspectors, and regulatory agencies.

·   Review and approve progress billings, pay applications, invoices, and project documentation.     

Required Qualifications:   

·  Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, Engineering, or a related field preferred.

·   5–10+ years of progressive construction project management experience, depending on project complexity.    

Preferred Qualifications:  

·  Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet demanding project deadlines.

·   PMP, CCM, LEED, OSHA, or other relevant professional certifications are a plus.
