LOCATION - Flower Mound, TX
HOURLY RATE - $32-38 per hour - Hourly rate is based on experience
SHIFT - 6am to 3:30pm - Monday - Friday The Maintenance Planner & Scheduler is responsible for developing and maintaining effective maintenance plans and schedules that maximize equipment reliability, minimize downtime, and ensure maintenance work is completed safely, efficiently, and on time. This position works closely with Maintenance, Operations, Engineering, Procurement, and contractors to ensure work is properly planned, resources are available, and scheduled activities are executed as efficiently as possible Duties and Responsibilities:

This position works closely with Maintenance, Operations, Engineering, Procurement, and contractors to ensure work is properly planned, resources are available, and scheduled activities are executed as efficiently as possible Duties and Responsibilities:
- Review maintenance requests, work orders, notifications, and preventive maintenance requirements to determine the appropriate scope of work.
- Develop detailed job plans that identify required labor, materials, tools, equipment, permits, procedures, and estimated hours.
- Prioritize and schedule maintenance work based on equipment criticality, operational requirements, safety, and available resources.
- Develop weekly and daily maintenance schedules in coordination with Maintenance and Operations leadership.
- Coordinate with supervisors, technicians, operations personnel, contractors, and vendors to ensure scheduled work can be executed as planned.
- Verify that required parts, materials, tools, permits, drawings, procedures, and other resources are available before work is scheduled.
- Maintain accurate and current work-order information in the CMMS/EAM system.
- Manage the backlog of maintenance work and ensure work orders are properly prioritized and progressed.
- Coordinate preventive and predictive maintenance activities and help ensure PM compliance.
- Participate in planning and scheduling of major maintenance outages, shutdowns, turnarounds, and special projects.
- Identify scheduling conflicts, resource constraints, material shortages, and other potential delays and develop solutions.
- Work with Procurement and Warehouse personnel to ensure required materials are ordered and available when needed.
- Track schedule compliance, backlog, labor utilization, PM compliance, and other maintenance performance indicators.
- Analyze completed work and feedback from technicians to improve job plans, labor estimates, procedures, and future maintenance activities.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on maintenance efficiency, reliability, cost reduction, and equipment availability.
- Ensure maintenance activities are planned in accordance with company safety, environmental, quality, and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain effective documentation and communication regarding upcoming maintenance activities
- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical degree, associate degree, or relevant certification preferred.
- 3+ years of maintenance planning, scheduling, supervision, or industrial maintenance experience.
- Experience working with a CMMS/EAM system such as SAP, IBM Maximo, Infor, or similar.
- Strong understanding of preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance practices.
- Ability to read and interpret equipment manuals, drawings, work procedures, and technical documentation.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Ability to prioritize multiple work activities in a fast-paced industrial environment.
