Adjunct Faculty

The Part-Time Adjunct/Lecturer position is to supervise students in a clinical setting within the School of Nursing's Associate of Applied Science program at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock. This position is governed by State and Federal law, and agency/institution policy.

Qualifications

Required Education and/or Experience:

• BSN Required;
• Holds a current and unencumbered RN license;
• Two (2) years of Nursing Experience.

Preferred Education and/or Experience:

• BSN Required;
• Holds a current and unencumbered RN license;
• Two (2) years of Nursing Experience.

Job Duties:

• Supervising students in the clinical setting while they complete patient care to satisfy the clinical hour requirements for the School of Nursing Associate of Applied Science degree;
• Responsible for grading clinical paperwork;
• Mentoring students in their clinical performance.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Nursing knowledge in assigned clinical area;
• Nursing skills;
• Ability to work a 9-12 hour clinical shift;
• Ability to navigate Blackboard LMS and Google Suite.
