Job DescriptionWe are seeking a Senior Data Solutions Engineer to join our growing Data Products & Platforms team. This role is designed for an experienced analytics professional who operates comfortably across analytics and data engineering, serves as a thought partner to the business, and takes ownership of delivering trusted, scalable, analytics-ready data products.As a senior member of the team, you will play a key role in shaping the analytics data layer, defining standardized metrics and datasets, and enabling high-quality reporting and self-service analytics across the organization. You will work closely with business stakeholders, analytics partners, and data engineering teams to ensure data is reliable, well-documented, and ready to support advanced analytics and AI use cases.What You’ll DoDesign, build, and own analytics-ready datasets in Snowflake using curated ELT pipelines (e.g., Coalesce.io)Develop and maintain Snowflake semantic views to standardize business logic, KPIs, and metric definitions across teamsAct as a trusted partner to business stakeholders by translating analytical needs into scalable, reusable data solutionsEnable and support self-service analytics across BI tools such as Sigma and Power BIEstablish and maintain clear documentation for datasets, metrics, and analytical modelsProactively monitor, validate, and improve data quality, performance, and reliabilityCollaborate closely with data engineering and platform teams to evolve and optimize the analytics data layerSupport AI and advanced analytics initiatives by delivering well-structured, high-quality datasets suitable for forecasting, machine learning, and generative AIContribute senior-level guidance on analytics engineering best practices, data modeling standards, and dataset designJob Requirements5+ years of experience in data analytics, analytics engineering, or data engineering rolesAdvanced SQL skills and hands-on experience working with Snowflake or similar cloud data warehousesExperience building and maintaining ELT pipelines using tools such as Coalesce.io, dbt, or comparable frameworksStrong experience supporting BI and analytics tools (e.g., Sigma, Power BI, Tableau, Looker)Deep understanding of data modeling concepts, including fact and dimension tables and star schemasProven ability to work directly with business users and translate complex requirements into effective data solutionsStrong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and problem-solving skillsPreferred QualificationsExperience designing or managing semantic layers or metrics layersFamiliarity with modern data stack best practices and analytics engineering principlesExperience with data documentation standards, data quality validation, or observability toolsExposure to AI, machine learning, or advanced analytics workflowsStrong communication skills with the ability to influence and collaborate across teamsWhy Join UsBe part of a modern data organization focused on data as a productWork with a contemporary analytics stack including Snowflake, Coalesce.io, Sigma, and Power BIOpportunity to operate at a senior level with real ownership and influenceHigh-visibility role with meaningful impact on how the business uses, trusts, and scales dataThe expected salary range for this position is $95,000 to $105,000 annually.
