Nurses work 12-hour shifts 7am-7pm or 7pm-7am with rotational weekends. Incentives: •

Education: Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program. Licensure: Is personally responsible for obtaining and maintaining a current LPN license within the hiring state in which nursing duties are performed and must meet all State Board of Nursing requirements within 90 days of graduation. •

Experience: Can be new or experienced LPN Must be LPN-IV Certification issued by the Missouri State Board of Nursing. Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association or successful completion of course within 30 days of hire.

Unit Information: Surgical Trauma "3A" is a 33-bed unit, fast-paced med-surg telemetry unit which focuses on adult post- operative and trauma patients. Nurse patient ratios are: Days 5:1, Nights 6:1. On our unit we offer you the opportunity to develop excellent critical thinking skills as well as use a wide variety of clinical skills including:

Head-to-toe assessments Reading and posting telemetry strips IV insertions Catheter, trach, and ostomy care Wound care Chest tubes
