Experience 24 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months. 24 months of Telemetry Unit experience with 12 months within the last 36 months (3 years). 3 months of Cerner experience is preferred. Required Skills/Experience:Must have a strong cardiac telemetry background.Must be able to titrate/decrease cardiac drips per physician orders and parameters.Must be able to read and interpret telemetry strips.MS/Tele travelers do not need prior travel experience. Unit Details:ED holds waiting for placement on a unit, primarily MS/Tele.Cares for more telemetry patients than medical patients.Common titratable drips include Cardizem, Heparin, and Amiodarone.May be asked to help with ED patients including vitals, IV starts, and medication administration, but will not be the primary RN for an ED patient assignment.No monitor tech in the ED. Shift & Scheduling:Self-scheduling available, though this may change from time to time.4 weekend shifts in a 4-week schedule.Holiday rotation with permanent staff.No call required.
