Water Resources Engineer Mid Level

We are actively looking for a Water Resources Engineer to join our growing resilience practice in Oakland, CA. As a key member of the WRES team, a successful hire will prepare plans, specifications, and cost estimates in support of civil, drainage, and stormwater projects; design stormwater and drainage systems; develop surface water hydraulic, hydrologic, and hydrodynamic modeling; perform engineering calculations to solve problems related to surface water and drainage; analyze system flow, flood risk, and mitigation alternatives; address local, state, and federal flood management regulations; prepare exhibits, reports, and presentations to illustrate findings and recommendations; and coordinate with government agencies, local authorities, contractors, and internal team members. Some site visits may be required which may necessitate navigating unpaved or natural terrain while carrying equipment.Base salary range: $120,000 to $155,000 annually based on years of experience, level of education obtained, professional registration, and meeting the required qualifications in the job description.Base salary range only applicable for candidates who will be hired and working in the California market.
