Registered Respiratory Therapist - Critical Care

Assignment Duration

This is an 18 to 20 week contract position.

Schedule

Day shift, working three 12-hour shifts from 06:30 to 18:00, with weekend requirements.

Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with recent critical care experience to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will provide respiratory care to a diverse patient population, including those in trauma and intensive care settings. Experience with pediatric patients is preferred but not required, and training in pediatrics will be provided if necessary.

Responsibilities

• Provide assessment and management of patients requiring respiratory care.
• Monitor ventilator management, oxygen therapy, and other respiratory modalities.
• Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team in critical care environments.
• Evaluate and respond to patients with complex needs, including trauma and neurological injuries.
• Participate in the management of patients with sleep-disordered breathing.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of recent critical care experience.
• Must be credentialed as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) and hold a valid WA state license.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Experience with adult trauma and burn patients preferred.
• Ability to work all scheduled shifts; no scheduling requests outside of approved time off (RTO).
